The simple present tenses.

Este tiempo verbal se caracteriza con el uso del auxiliar do y la modificación del verbo cuando se habla en 3era persona del singular. Se le conoce como Presente habitual ya que expresa hábitos y rutina de nuestra vida cotidiana.

Ejemplos:

I wash my face: lavo mi cara

I have a shower: tomo un baño/ una ducha

I dry mu hair: peino mi cabello

I brush my hair: cepillo mi cabello

I have breakfast: tomo mi desayuno

I brush my teeth: cepillo mis dientes

I get dressed: me visto

I go to the toilet: voy al baño

I make my bed: hago mi cama

I comb my hair: me peino

I wash my clothes: lavo mi ropa

I shave: me rasuro

I read the newspaper: leo el periódico

I go to the school: voy a la escuela

I study: estudio

I have lunch: tomo mi luch

I arrive home: llego a casa

I do the shopping: voy de compras

I wash the dishes: lavo los trastes

I do my homework: hago mi tarea

I have dinner: tomo mi cena

I have a bath:

I go to bed: voy a la cama

Para She, He, It sera doesn´t en negación.

Ejemplo de las oraciones en las 3 formas (afirmativo, negativo y preguntas):

a.     I abide my teacher

        I don´t abide my teacher

        Do I abide my teacher?

b.     I play soccer

         I don´t play soccer

        Do I play soccer?

c.    He goes to Mérida

He doesn´t go to Mérida

Does he go to Mérida?

Note: the third person singular from of have is has.
